The Shadow Walkers comic series is a hybrid historical mythological fantasy series based on real life precolonial legends and cultural folkheroes portrayed as gods and goddesses of Africa, split between two warring factions in the Azuni vs. Okuzuni war, under the premise that all supernatural beings began in Africa before spreading throughout the globe.

Shadow Walkers #1 introduces the Azuni and two of their most celebrated heroes, with thier lives and history at stake as the threat of the Azuni vs Okuzuni War re-emerges.
